February 1993, the radio station CKMF 94,3 propose a contest to write a song to help people regarding AIDS. Sponsored by Johanne Blouin and Dr Réjean Thomas, the eight (8) jury's member choosed unanimously among the 750 lyrics received Guylaine's one. Singed by more than forty artists including Lara Fabian, Julie Masse, Johanne Blouin, Nanette Workman, Michel Pagliaro, France D'Amour, Bruno Pelletier, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Patrick Norman, Renée Martel, Daniel Bélanger, Édith Butler, Robert Charlebois and several others, her song AU NOM DE L'AMOUR became the "We are the world" from Quebec and has been played a lot in the biggest radio stations in Quebec. Still today, for special events and the international day for AIDS, december 1st , her song continued to be played and sing.
Ever since, Guylaine has almost thirty songs recorded with severals artists as much as the new ones or the most popular ones such as Natasha St-Pier and Bruno Pelletier witch whom she has received golden, platinum and double platinum awards.
The perseverance and determination of this lyricist have given her the strenght to continue to write still after more thant a decade and acquire a deep respect from the people industry and also the artists.
